Subway Barlow Moor Road

```html
Welcome to Subway Barlow Moor Road, located at the Shell Chorlton Service Station on Barlow Moor Road in Manchester, England. This spot aims to bring the hearty gratification of a classic Subway experience right to your fingertips. Whether you're a sandwich aficionado or looking for a quick bite, you might find yourself drawn in by the promise of freshly made subs and an array of customizable options.
However, I must admit, the recent customer feedback paints an inconsistent picture of what one might expect here. Some reviews evoke a sense of disappointment, with mentions of stale bread, rude service, and communication mishaps. For instance, Abigail Holdsworth shared her dismay about crumbling, inedible bread and a lack of attentive service from one of the staff members, Raj. This sentiment echoed through other reviews as well, suggesting a worrying trend in customer interaction that diminishes the overall dining experience.
  • Inconsistent Service: Multiple customers expressed frustration over staff not being fully engaged or attentive. Customers have reported experiences where the staff appeared to prioritize phone orders over in-person patrons.
  • Product Quality: There have been troubling reports regarding stale products, such as crumbling bread, which should never be acceptable in a well-regarded establishment.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Although several reviews noted the cafe is clean and inviting, concerns about the upkeep of the drinks machine and the cleanliness of tables indicate that consistency in basic hygiene could be vastly improved.
On a brighter note, Arifa Rafiq mentioned that, despite her experience with rude staff, she appreciated the clean ambiance of the restaurant. And let's remember—Subway's appeal lies in its ability to cater to dietary restrictions and the ability to choose your ingredients, ensuring everyone can find something they love.
In conclusion, while Subway Barlow Moor Road has the foundation to be a go-to spot for fast, delicious sandwiches, it undoubtedly faces challenges in service and product quality that need addressing. If you venture here, prepare for a variety of options but keep your expectations measured, given the range of experiences shared. Here's hoping for a turnaround to turn this branch into a premier destination for all your Subway cravings!
    Disgusting, inedible food.The bread was so stale that it crumbled to the touch.The bloke, Raj, serving me, was incredibly rude. He didn't come to the drive - thru so I had to go into the store. He has no meatballs ready so I got steak and cheese - he forgot the cheese. He toasted the sandwich for about seconds and brought it back out cold.He was also taking a personal phone call whilst serving me.Complete waste of £ - go to McDonald's over the road instead
    Staff more occupied with telephone orders which is frustrating.Girl who took my order seemed to have poor English and communication, mumbling so I kept having to ask her to repeat things, and ended up with my gluten intolerant husband being given chicken with gluten and he's feeling very sick today as a result. If someone asks for gf bread then you mishear Caesar chicken as tikka, surely you should know that it has gluten and flag this up. Complete lack of customer care. Other subway stores we've found the staff are great with gf, but this one is completely unacceptable.Dietary restrictions: Be very clear with your order as the staff don't care or don't know what products contain gluten leaving my husband feeling very unwell today!
    This branch is supposed to open at .I’ve been every day between Tuesday morning and Saturday morning (I work nights / days, and the petrol station is on my way home) and the girl hasn’t even got one item of food out.She’s honest and says it opens at am and laughs it off so I just joke with her that she can’t be having a lie-in next time I want to come in.Just come in at on a Friday night after work on way home.Guy behind the counter just having a personal call and absolutely no sign of any food and looks like he’s already cleaned.If he’s quick I reckon he started moving stuff at pm.It’s supposed to be open until pm.Asked him what time he closes and he looked at the clock before saying “Half ” and carried on his call.I said no you don’t, you’re supposed to serve food until o’clock and it’s only just - now.He just grinned and stared at me.Probably a great subway during the day but the staff don’t understand what opening hours are.
    Been to this Subway several times, if there's one thing that's consistent it's the rude staff! On my most recent visit // lunchtime the two male staff were incredibly rude and standoffish. Siva was rushing us to pay when we had not yet ordered our meals! When we eventually got to the till he ignored us and proceeded to count his money! He was also very rude to the female member of staff who seemed to be training- she was very nice and pleasant. The other gentleman was very abrupt and rude to my friend.On all the occasions I have been throughout covid the staff have not been wearing any masks/visors and on some instances they gave the gloves a miss too!
